another big victory for Florian Grill

After his re-election as president of the FFR, Florian Grill won another important victory: the elections for the presidents of the regional Leagues. We already had the results for the Occitanie and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Leagues, had scores very favorable to the support of Florian Grill, but the plebiscite for Ovale Ensemble is much broader.

11 Leagues out of 13

As reported by the press, eleven of the thirteen regional Leagues now have leaders at their head who are supporters of the president of the FFR. Only the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Centre-Val-de-Loire Leagues remain in the opposition camp. Before his re-election, Florian Grill had, in comparison, only three Leagues in his camp. Florian Grill expressed his satisfaction in a press release, also looking ahead to another hope: the election of Abdelatif Benazzi as president of World Rugby.

It is a huge success in the leagues and I have no doubt that we will work hand in hand with the 13 metropolitan leagues but also all those overseas (…) The alignment of the planets between the federal and national vision will help us move forward more quickly, while waiting for the elections in the departments in a few weeks, and dreaming of the election of Abdelatif Benazzi whom we support at World Rugby and which would be a real achievement.
