Amateur Rugby – Regional 1, 2 and 3: three Gers teams still undefeated, a shock in sight in Masseube… On the program for the 4th day

Regional 1. Condom, Vic-Fezensac and Lectoure on a trip, RCBLM at home.

When the second block of matches resumes, RCBLM (2nd) is able to secure a fourth success in a row against ESCA Luc, last in the group. Vic-Fezensac (1st) can also assert his status as leader in Bigorre against Juillan/Louey, the penultimate in the ranking.

In Trie/Baïse (8th), Lectoure (3rd) will need to restore some order in the “yellow and black” house after his setback at home against Saint-Gaudens. Delicate will be the journey from Condom (6th) to Saint-Gaudens LB (4th), but the Sac remains on a victory full of hopes against Juillan/Louey.

Regional 2. Shock at Masseube XV, RC Lomagne, Eauze and Montreal among the tenors

Pool 5. The Gersois of this division classified in the second part of the table need points and all will face the tenors of the pool this Sunday. Thus, the major shock will be at Masseube XV (6th) which hosts the undefeated leader Labarthe/Lèze. Eauze (7th) will have a lot to do by moving to Montréjeau GP (2nd). It’s also not easy for Montreal (9th, one game in hand), which is still chasing a first success, to go to Montesquieu (Val XV) which is in 3rd place. Finally, in Hers Lauragais (Calmont), RC Lomagne, still without a single point too, will have to fight with fourth in the group.

Pool 6. This pool is dominated by the Bigourdans of Mardaing (Azereix/Ossun), Tournay, Saint-Lary and Adé. Plaisance (7th) is falling behind, with a team in reconstruction. USP therefore welcomes Ibos (6th) for a second hoped-for victory. For its part, the Ovalie Villecomtal-Rabastens, after coming close against Tournay and Saint-Lary, also wants to get the points for victory against Séméac (5th).

Regional 3. Panjas in leader at BARC, the Montestruc-Gondrin derby

Panjas is the major of the group after this first block. With this status, the PAC goes to BARC (8th) with intentions, but be careful, the guys of captain Andréa Fontana will have nothing to lose. Montestruc (4th) is hot on the heels of the leading trio (Panjas, Laloubère and Bazet/Andrest) and the arrival of Gondrin (6th) will be taken seriously for this derby at the “Vieux oak”.

Marciac (5th), recently defeated by the leader, will try to disrupt the ranking by going to Laloubère (2nd). VVAL’XV started its championship by taking no points… For this low-ranking match against Castelnau-Madiran (9th), the Lislois have the opportunity to achieve a first victory which would do good.
