Top 14 – Pierre Mignoni () suspended for six weeks by the LNR disciplinary committee

Summoned before the LNR disciplinary committee after his behavior at the end of the Clermont- match, Pierre Mignoni was suspended for six weeks. It will be requalified on December 8.

Pierre Mignoni knows his sanction. While he was heard this Wednesday by the LNR disciplinary committee, the RCT manager will have to wait a little while before returning to the sidelines in the Top 14. Indeed, the strong man of the staff has was suspended for six weeks. To be precise, the former scrum-half initially received a nine-week sanction “reduced to six after taking into account extenuating circumstances.” Mignoni admitted his guilt and then behaved well before and during the hearing, which reduced his sentence.

In its press release, the LNR explains that the Var manager was “responsible for an action against a match official and more particularly for misconduct towards a match official.” Mignoni will be requalified on December 8. He should make his return to the pitch during Toulon-Glasgow, scheduled for December 15. The RCT will then play the second day of the Champions Cup.

Mignoni was already in the stands against Racing

After Clermont-ToulonPierre Mignoni did not wait to know the verdict of the LNR disciplinary committee to make decisions. The Toulon manager had decided to punish himself by sitting in the stands last Saturday during Racing 92-Toulon.

With a sanction now official, he will now be forced to take his place far from the green rectangle for the next six weeks.
