Top 14 – Notes from : Paul Boudehent in great form, Davit Niniashvili in a day without

The internationals were to their advantage, in the wake of a Danty-Boudehent duo particularly in “”. On the side, Georgian fullback Davit Niniashvili, who will wear maritime colors from next summer, was less inspired than usual.

The tops:

The third line was everywhere. In defense, as usual, he was very valuable due to his propensity to win impacts and cover ground. He is to be credited with a remarkable 15/15 in the exercise. In the absence of Grégory Alldritt, we saw him very active with the ball in hand. Generosity and audacity which were rewarded with a beautiful double.

The center is clearly gaining strength. This Saturday, we saw him particularly impactful with ball in hand, which allowed him to score a try; his good form was also felt in defense where he was impeccable. In case there was any doubt, the Maritime has lost none of its impact and still has energy to spare.

The flops:

  • Davit Niniashvili : 4,5/10

The Georgian was obviously expected on his future pitch. As a result, Deflandre was not entitled to the best version of Davit Niniashvili. The Lyon full-back was uninspired in his choices, which were often counterproductive. If his qualities allowed him from time to time to create some differences, he did not bring what we have the right to expect from a player of his talent.

  • Steeve Blanc-Mappaz: 4.5/10

Within a very active Lyon third line, Steeve-Blanc Mappaz had a performance and an influence below his partners and his habits. We hardly saw him with the ball in hand and he was not impeccable in defense.
