“He’s on the right track”, an assistant to Ugo Mola praises one of Stade Toulousain’s young talents

Zapping World Cup 15 2024 6 Nations Calendar

Stade Toulousain has decided to restart this 2024-2025 season without making any changes (or almost) to its squad. Which necessarily means that the youngsters who played their part very well last year will once again have their say, especially when the internationals are absent, and that’s a very good thing. Why? Because we were able to see what they were capable of and it really wasn’t so bad.

“It will be difficult to remove”

Among these youngsters, there is one who has already played two matches as a starter: Joshua Brennan. The young second row (who has also tested the third row) is one of the many “sons of” at Stade Toulousain and when we see him at work, we imagine that he makes his father, Trevor Brennan, proud. His start to the season is in any case full of promise, as we can feel in the comments that Jean Bouilhou was able to make to Actu Rugby. Ugo Mola’s assistant is full of praise for his young nugget.

A player’s career is not linear, it is often made up of levels, moments where you realize that you can do much better. This is what Josh experienced last year around Christmas. He managed to accumulate experience in relation to that event, he played a little 3rd line and it did him good (…) We feel that he is on the right path that he started last year. If he continues like that, he will be difficult to remove. It is very good that he is on this line, knowing that there are many very good players in his position too.

To summarize

Stade Toulousain has decided to restart this 2024-2025 season without making any changes. Which necessarily means that the youngsters who played their part very well last year will once again have their say. Among these youngsters, there is also a player who impresses one of Ugo Mola’s assistants.
