On the occasion of its Champions Cup meeting in Durban at the beginning of January, the French champion club will pay tribute to the memory of its young player who died at sea last summer.
The president of Stade Toulousain, Didier Lacroix, announced it Monday evening on Sud Radio. At the beginning of January, when the European champions travel to South Africa to face the Durban Sharks in the Champions Cup, the players will pay their respects in memory of Medhi Narjissi on the beach, near the Cape of Good Hope, where he disappeared at sea.
The young U18 international, licensed at Stade Toulousain, drowned on August 7 on a beach where swimming was strongly discouraged. However, the management had organized a recovery session there.
