You seemed very comfortable. How did you get through this match?
There was a lot of rhythm. Whether on runs or impacts, it was a big match. Personally, I'm happy with the sensations. But above all I am super happy for the group. The challenge, the motivation, it was there. I was keen that we succeed where other nations – Ireland and England – failed. Out of pride, we must be able to say that the Northern Hemisphere is capable of defending itself.
In the first half, you had two late tries, you suffered collisions. What crossed your mind?
We told ourselves all week that our strength was our character. As French people, we have an extra bit of soul. On the pitch, we are capable of surpassing ourselves. Even if we are led, there is no question of giving up.
The direct conquest was thwarted in the first period. How did you correct it?
Honestly, this is the rest of what I explain to you. There was no panic. We knew that everything was not going to go well against this team, that they were going to respond. We remained calm.

This is the third victory in a row for the Blues over the Blacks, but you were not there in 2021. Does this mean that a new generation is taking over?
I don't have the number in mind, but a lot of players on the team had never played for Blacks. That was almost our strength: we had a highly motivated group, who didn't want to give up their chance. Many of us watched the 2021 match in front of the TV. We also wanted to make history, in quotes. We wanted to demonstrate that we weren't there just as extras.
You left 10 minutes before the end of this match with a concussion. How are you ?
How are you. The “doc” thought he saw something, but there was nothing: I passed the tests flawlessly. But as I came out at 70e and there were 12 minutes of delay, I couldn't get in.
