The young Pablo Patillawho arrived this summer in the Harbor, is lacking playing time and should be loaned to until the end of the season. The club is counting on him for the years to come and wants to get him back at the end of the 2024-2025 season.

Mathieu Smileys could leave at the end of the season. The center trained at the club is coming to the end of his lease and could be tempted by a new challenge. Jean-Luc du Preez approaches UBB

As explained before, theUnion Bordeaux-Bègles must face the departure of Avoid Close up. The third row decided to return to Japan even though the Girondins absolutely wanted to keep him. Several avenues have been explored to replace it as Juarno Augustus et Dan du Preez but neither should succeed.

L’UBB would be on track to recruit Dan's brother, Jean-Luc du Preez. The South African 29 years old is under contract with the Sale Sharks until 2026 but could obtain an exit voucher in 2025. Also capable of playing in the second line position, he could therefore settle down in in a few months.

Dicodusport's review : A physical monster who has several selections with the Springboks. This would be another very good move for the Bordeaux-Bègles Union.
