Jaminet has returned to training with

Melvyn Jaminet’s return to the field is becoming clearer. Last July, the full-back made racist remarks in a video posted on his Instagram account, a few hours after the French XV’s victory over Argentina in Mendoza. Visibly drunk, the player quickly deleted the said video before apologizing but was immediately excluded by the French management. Since then, the former player has been suspended for 34 weeks by the FFR and must perform community service. He will be able to return to the field at the end of January.

Jaminet trained with several teammates

Despite this suspension, Rugby Club Toulonnais decided to give its player a second chance and keep him. Although he remains suspended, Melvyn Jaminet returned to the field this Wednesday, as reported by Rugbyrama. Along with several players, including Gabin Villière, he took part in a session and was able to practice kicking and receiving high-balls. Unsurprisingly, he also took the tee to take penalties. All in a good atmosphere and joking with his teammates, according to the media. While waiting to be able to return to the fields, Melvyn Jaminet continues to keep fit and will carry out several social actions, particularly with the RCT foundation.
