Théo Ntamack explains his brother’s reassuring role

The Ntamack lineage continues to grow with Stade Toulousain. After the exploits of his father Emile in the 90s, Romain Ntamack has taken up the torch for several years and has won titles with the club from Haute-Garonne. In recent seasons, his little brother has been trying to make a place for himself in the XXL squad of the Rouge et Noir. Since the start of the season, Théo Ntamack has distinguished himself by producing two clean copies against Vannes and then Stade Rochelais. Slowed down by injuries last season, the third-rower hopes to assert himself in the coming months despite the enormous competition, as he confided in a press conference in comments reported by Rugbyrama : “The real moments of doubt for me are injuries, when I am unfit to play. I don’t know how to explain it, but personally I have always been ready to jump at an opportunity to play. And in addition in this team, despite the size of the squad, there are ways to continue and playing time to be taken.”

Above all, the presence of his brother Romain, a member of the squad, allows him to face difficult times with greater serenity: “First of all, I have my whole family at Stade Toulousain, including my brother who really offers me a reassuring framework in times of doubt. I also have my mother who is always there, she is there almost at every match as soon as she can. They are always there to support me.” A family story that Stade Toulousain intends to perpetuate. Already at the top of the Top 14, the club will want to continue next week on the pitch at Montpellier. The two brothers could still be associated.
