CONCERT – Tempers were high on stage that night. While the American metal band Jane’s Addiction was performing on Friday, September 13, its singer Perry Farrell physically attacked the band’s guitarist, Dave Navarro. A fight that greatly displeased the leader of Oasis, the rock band with worldwide success that has just reformed.

In videos filmed by Jane’s Addiction fans present that night, Perry Farrell can be seen having a sudden burst of anger in the middle of a song and heading towards his guitarist, before shoving him and hitting him. According to the New York Postrelayed by The Parisianeven before coming to blows, the singer of the group was growling, shouting into the microphone and insulting the crowd present at his concert.
Peter Farrell had to be restrained by the other band members and escorted off stage, as you can see in the video below. The concert ended at that point. According to the same sources, the other three members of the group returned to the stage to greet their audience warmly, and were cheered, without Perry Farrell.
Recurring incidents
An episode that did not please Liam Gallagher, who described this violent outburst as a “fearful behavior” in a post on X. A nice irony when it was precisely a fight between the two Gallagher brothers (backstage, and not on stage) which caused the separation of Oasis at Rock en Seine in 2009.
This is not the first incident involving the Jane’s Addiction singer. The Parisian reports that fans have asked for refunds on their tickets to a previous concert in New York, due to the performance of Perry Farrell, whose sobriety and health have been questioned.
The band has yet to complete their tour – a reunion tour – after being apart for many years.
