UA piece of French luxury within reach… On September 25, 26 and 27, the Ritz is selling some of its services, trinkets and furniture during an exceptional auction organized by the famous Artcurial auction house. More than 1,500 lots will be sold, representing a certain French art de vivre that the palace on Place Vendôme has embodied for decades.
Catering enthusiasts and professionals will be spoilt for choice with copper pots and pans, classic armchairs (around 1,000 euros), the inevitable service bells, sets of crockery of all styles, glasses, decanters (150 euros), champagne glasses, bottle coolers, silver-plated trays, tea and chocolate sets and even an imperial bronze table service sold in several lots (between 300 and 500 euros for 16 pieces).

Among the sale, some exceptional objects such as a large upholstered bench from the famous Bar Hemingway, estimated between 1,500 and 2,000 euros, a splendid Louis XV style chandelier with brass pendants (from 800 euros), various lamp bases, sculptures by Daum representing swordfish (300 euros), a dark wood serving trolley, a Christofle silver-plated cutlery set (144 pieces from 600 euros), bronze trinket trays with scalloped edges and swans in the four corners…
