the longer it is – The television news presented by Anne-Sophie Lapix now lasts an hour

Attention, from this Monday evening, France 2 has decided to “take the time for information” to try to understand our “complex world”. The recipe? Extend the 8 p.m. which now lasts one hour, including the Weather Climate newspaper.

Anne-Sophie Lapix kicked off this new format. France 2 had promised that the extension “does not mean that we will lose rhythm.” The program includes more reports, analyses, experts and specialized journalists on set, announces the director of information of the public group, Alexandre Kara. The president of France Télévisions, Delphine Ernotte Cunci, wants to believe in “the French people’s demand to understand and decipher the world.”
