“All my best wishes for a speedy recovery to the victims, including several firefighters, injured last night in a serious road accident near Rennes, while they were providing assistance. Thank you to the forces mobilized to secure the area and take care of the victims,” she wrote.
A major operation was put in place to rescue the victims, while the Ille-et-Vilaine departmental fire and rescue service blocked traffic to secure the scene. 27 vehicles and 68 firefighters were mobilized.
