Danielle Moore, singer of British group Crazy P, dies at the age of 52

The British singer, voice of this electro group, died on August 30 in circumstances that have not been communicated.

Danielle Moore, known as the voice of the English electronic music group Crazy P, died on Friday, August 30. She was 52 years old. The cause of her death, announced on Monday, September 2 on Instagram by the members of the group, has not been communicated.

“We are devastated to announce the shocking, unbelievable news of the sudden and tragic death of our beautiful Danielle Moore,” they wrote.

“She gave us so much, and we love her so much,” they continued. “Our hearts are broken. We need time to process that this happened. Danielle lived a life of love, compassion, community and music. She lived the greatest life. We will miss her, with all our hearts.”

Twenty years of career

Manchester native Danielle Moore joined Crazy P (originally called Crazy Penis) in 2002, a band formed by musicians Chris Todd and Jim Baron in 1995, as reported by Sky News. A quintet since that year, they have released eight albums, including their latest, Age of the Egodate from 2019.

The British outlet reports that Crazy P performed in Mexico, Croatia, Spain and Portugal over the summer, as well as at the latest edition of Glastonbury. They were scheduled to perform on Sunday, September 1 at a festival in Bristol; their performance has been cancelled.
