Francesco Del Balso would have fallen into an ambush

Francesco Del Balso knew that his life was in danger and had been holed up for months in his hypersecure house in Laval.

According to police sources, he was always walking around with a ballistic jacket, says JE host and journalist Félix Séguin.

Since the assassination attempt on Leonardo Rizzuto, Del Balso suspected that he was in the crosshairs of the Montreal mafia.

He feared a replica of the Rizzuto clan, of which he had already been a member.

In the program Le Bilan with Paul Larocque, Félix Séguin explains that police sources point out that Francesco Del Balso would have fallen into an ambush.

“We can think that Del Balso fell into an ambush. It happened very quickly from what we understand, ”says the journalist.

According to him, he would have become a disturbing individual for many fringes of organized crime, including the Hells Angels, to whom he would have approached, particularly Martin Robert and Stéphane Plouffe, two influential members.

Francesco Del Balso would therefore have been lured into a false meeting by certain members of the Hells.

“He could have been sacrificed by the Hells Angels to attract some kind of peace for the future. Since the attempted murder of Rizzuto, things have changed a lot in Montreal,” says Félix Séguin.

“Could we have sacrificed an Italian gangster like Francesco Del Balso to buy peace? For the police, it’s part of the theories of the police,” adds the journalist.
