The morning
The legal framework governing the management of inland fisheries and aquaculture reaches a new stage with its publication in the Official Bulletin. This text invests the National Water and Forests Agency with the exclusive prerogative of developing regional development and management plans for the sector. This process must therefore be based on scientific, socio-economic and environmental data. The objective being to ensure sustainable development and optimal exploitation of fish resources on a regional scale, while guaranteeing compliance with current environmental standards.

Morocco is hosting, from February 22 to 26 in Marrakech, the 49th General Assembly of FANAF (Federation of African National Law Insurance Companies). Placed under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, this continental event is organized by FANAF, in close collaboration with the local organizing committee of the FMA (Moroccan Insurance Federation). The 49th General Assembly of FANAF should see the participation of around a thousand professionals from the world of insurance and reinsurance, representing around forty nationalities, coming not only from Africa but also from the rest of the world. Indeed, the FANAF General Assembly will bring together African players in the Insurance and Reinsurance sector and will see the participation of the largest companies as well as world leaders in the field.

In terms of volume, total sales of diesel and gasoline reached nearly 2.33 billion liters for the 3rd quarter of 2024, up nearly 4.8% year-on-year, specifies the Council of the competition in its Q3-2024 report relating to the monitoring of commitments made by wholesale diesel and gasoline distribution companies as part of the transactional agreements concluded with the Council.
