Violent knife attack in a park in Bavaria

A violent incident took place in a park in southern Germany on Wednesday, causing several serious injuries, local authorities said. This knife attack took place in Aschaffenburg, a town in the state of Bavaria, located in the southeast of the country.

The police quickly intervened and managed to arrest a suspect linked to this dramatic event. According to a press release posted on social networks, the police confirmed that no other suspects were being sought. “One person is in police custody. There is no indication that there are any other suspects. There is no danger to the public,” the police announced on the X platform.

The Bild newspaper, citing police sources, reported that the attack left four seriously injured, a child and three adults. However, authorities have not yet revealed details regarding the suspect’s possible motivations or the identities of the victims.
