The organizers of the Freemusic Montendre festival revealed the first names of the 2025 poster this Wednesday, January 22, at 10 a.m. Remember that every year, this major meeting of the region’s festivals brings together several thousand visitors, now for two days, on the Baron-Desqueyroux lake site. In 2024, the event brought together nearly 15,000 people and artists like Disiz, Matmatah, Pierre de Maere, Naâman and Chinese Man.

On Friday June 27, 2025, Creeds – maestro of hard music (hardcore electronic music) – will ignite the main stage, “Fire Stage”, nestled in the heart of the pine forest for the first time. “A moment not to be missed for thrill-seekers,” warns the organizing company, Belle Factory. This same evening, the American reggae-men of Groundation will return to Montendre, who had already visited in 2019.

Saturday June 28, the legendary Californian group Cypress Hill, kings of hip-hop in the 1990s, will also be back in Haute-Saintonge! After a 2016 edition engraved in memories, the rappers once again promise an explosive show…

The same evening, reggae will also be in the spotlight with the French group Danakil. Since his title “Marley” in homage to the great Bob, which has become cult for an entire generation, Danakil has become a must on the French and international reggae scene.
