A young resident of Dijon (Côte-d'Or) will represent Burgundy in the Mister France competition. Léopold Berry aims to win this election which will be held on Saturday January 25, 2025 in Rueil-Malmaison (Hauts-de-Seine), reports France 3 Burgundy-Franche-Comté.
It was by chance that the 22-year-old discovered the competition. “I saw an ad on Instagram and I signed up, without thinking too much,” he explained to Actu Dijon. If his goal is to win, he also wants to surpass himself. In his eyes, this title could be an advantage in the pursuit of his professional life.
Develop new skills
After obtaining a degree in engineering sciences, he decided to abandon his studies to start producing videos for companies. This work allows him to develop new skills, to be independent and to socialize. When he is not working, the young man practices bodybuilding and street workouts.
It was his love for sport that pushed him to support the cause of physical disability. “I want to use my skills in this area to help these people who have a lot of constraints in their daily lives,” he declared. According to him, the Mister France competition is not based only on physical appearance. Intellectual qualities are also essential.
