The Hassan II Mosque Foundation and Orion Editions are organizing a conference meeting under the title “What role for the visual arts within society?”
An evening dedicated to the analysis of what the visual arts can provide both as insight and as a reading of the complex ramifications of any society where art and artistic creation can have a positive impact on mentalities and on the individuals. Abdelhak Najib invites us on a journey through the pictorial works of more than 60 artists whose work and work he has encountered very closely.
The recognized writer and critic gives us an analysis and reading of their multiple universes, through the evolution of their work over more than half a century. This meeting focused on several works signed by Abdelhak Najib, such as “What the painters said”, “Dream time”, “Couleurs en archipelago”, “Chromatic nuances” and “The great figures of painting in Morocco “.
-This is an intellectual walk in a Moroccan art gallery accompanied by a guide, personally touched by each of the artists exhibited, who opens doors for us to put us in contact with the artists thus exposed.
