RSB crushes Stellenbosch (5-0)

Renaissance Berkane largely beat the South African club Stellenbosch with a score of 5 goals to 0, Sunday at the Berkane municipal stadium, in a match of the 6th and final day of Group B of the African Football Confederation Cup ( CIF).

The locals’ goals were scored by Oussama Lamlioui (7th), Youssef Mehri (15th), Paul Bassene (66th, 84th) and Youssef Zghoudi (80th).

Thanks to this victory, RS Berkane, finalist of the previous edition of this competition, finished at the top of group B with 16 units, ahead of its opponent of the day (9 pts). Both teams thus qualify for the quarter-finals of the CAF Cup.

In the other match of this group, Desportivo Lunda Sul won against Stade Malien (1-0).
