after Star Ac’, Lénie takes on the challenge of “Dancing with the Stars”

Originally from , former Star Academy candidate Lénie agreed to answer our questions during her presentation of the future season of “Dancing with the Stars”. She tells us that she is “looking forward” but is a little stressed.

In what state of mind do you go into Dancing with the Stars?

I’m super excited. I can’t wait. But I’m also stressed because it’s always a bit special to find yourself in a show with so much visibility. Dancing with the Stars is huge. I’m coming out of a telecrochet which was particularly intense and now I’m going back into something heavy. It’s very physical and emotional. I am in a good dynamic, in a good energy. I feel creative, I feel motivated.

In your Star Academy experience, we saw you dancing. Some of your classmates say that you are clearly the favorite and so do the observers…

It’s very flattering! But above all they make me stressed. Because that means that we will have to be sure behind. There, a lot of people are waiting for me. People know me as a “dancer” but I am not a professional. I’m going into a field that I don’t know which is ballroom dancing. It is extremely precise and strict. It’s totally different from what I’ve ever known. But I will draw on all the experience I acquired at Star Ac’.

Are you going to challenge yourself in this adventure? A goal to achieve or challenges to overcome?

Just the fact that I signed up is a challenge. Besides that, I now also have my life as an artist, so you have to gauge everything. And that of learning these ballroom dances.

You also have to pay bonuses and be proud of yourself. Please the jury and the public. I would like to go all the way and in my biggest dreams, to win! I’m going to give it my all and use all the resources I have within me.

Mel Charlot just told us that she wanted to share a dance with you. Are you ready?

(She blushes). It’s so nice, I didn’t expect it, it’s really stressful! I need to know how to dance a little, to know a few steps. I plan ahead but calmly (laughs).

You seem at ease and find this “family” spirit like at Star Ac’ even if Adil Rami throws barbs at you…

Adil looked for me! I’m going to track him down throughout the adventure. There is a good atmosphere, everyone is funny. I find this family atmosphere and I think that it is obligatory to have this kind of program which pleases the public. There is good energy and this freshness feels good. It’ll work, everyone gets along well and it’ll be cool!
