The price of fuel at the pump increased again this Friday, January 17. The increase reaches 20 cents per liter, both for diesel and gasoline.
According to the latest survey carried out by Le360this morning in downtown Casablanca, diesel is priced at 11.47 dirhams per liter in Afriquia, Winxo and Shell service stations.
Regarding gasoline, the same distributors sell a liter at 13.37 dirhams.
As for the distributor Total, it has not yet updated its prices, still offering a liter of diesel at 11.27 dirhams and that of gasoline at 13.19 dirhams.

In its latest report devoted to monitoring the commitments made by fuel distribution companies within the framework of the transactional agreements concluded last year, the competition council reported a downward trend in international quotations, purchase costs and transfer prices for diesel and gasoline, during the second quarter of 2024.
Regarding gross margins, the same source underlines that operators achieved gross margins of nearly 1.21 dirham/liter for diesel and 1.79 dirham/liter for unleaded gasoline during the second quarter of 2024. .
