“The Kingdom calls on all Palestinian and Israeli parties to give Peace a chance and to demonstrate a sincere and constructive commitment, far from any cyclical or opportunistic considerations”indicates a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad.
The kingdom, adds the press release, “expresses the hope that this ceasefire agreement will be fully respected, and that it will allow an end to attacks against civilians, the return of displaced people and smooth access and in sufficient quantities to humanitarian aid”.
As highlighted by King Mohammed VI, in his Message to the last Arab Summit, “it is fundamental to avoid emerging from one crisis to enter another”.
-Indeed, the press release continues, the ceasefire agreement should open the way to a real peace process, allowing the establishment of a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, living alongside -side by side and at peace with Israel.
