Former Minister of Agriculture, Didier Guillaume, died at 65

Former Minister of Agriculture in the government of Édouard Philippe, Didier Guillaume died this Thursday, January 17, at the age of 65, the Principality of Monaco announced in a press release. The former senator, now Minister of State of Monaco, had been hospitalized in Nice for several days.

“It is with great emotion that we learned of the death of Mr. Didier GUILLAUME, Minister of State, which occurred today,” we read in the press release. “Everyone will remember his exceptional capacity for work, his passion for politics in favor of women and men, as well as his spirit of unity and mobilization.”

“With the death of Didier Guillaume, I mourn a friend, a big brother, who has always accompanied and supported me,” reacted Olivier Dussopt, deputy and former colleague of Didier Guillaume under the government of Édouard Philippe, to the Dauphiné Released. “France, Drôme, the Principality of Monaco are losing a great man. (…) I will miss Didier terribly, we will miss him.”
