ASSE Mercato: the Greens received the response from Metz for Sadibou Sané

FC Metz would not be a seller this winter for Sadibou Sané, targeted by ASSE. Unless there is an irrefutable offer.

As revealed last week by Match360, AS Saint-Étienne would express an interest in the young central defender of FC Metz, Sadibou Sané, during this winter transfer window. Looking for reinforcement in central defense this winter, the Foérzien club would be seduced by the profile of the Senegalese, who has been shining in Ligue 2 with the Metz club since the start of the 2024-2025 financial year.

ASSE can probably forget Sadibou Sané

But ASSE should have difficulty recruiting Sadibou Sané this winter. And for good reason, according to Culture Grenat, the current fourth in Ligue 2 would not want to sell his nugget this winter, unless there is an impossible offer to refuse. Unless such a proposal arrives on the table of Metz leaders by February 2, Sadidou Sané should therefore stay in Metz until the end of the season, at least.

Clearly, it is therefore not good for ASSE to negotiate with Metz on the transfer market, the Greens having already faced last summer the intransigence of the Grenats for Mathieu Udol.
