Mbaye Niang has found a new club, officialization imminent!

As we announced yesterday, Mbaye Niang could make his return to the Italian championship. Free from any contract, after his departure from Wydad Casablanca, the former Senegalese international reached an agreement with Sampdoria.

Free to join the club of his choice, after terminating his contract with Wydad Casablanca, the former Senegalese international is on the transfer market during this winter transfer window. According to information from Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Sampdoria has sounded out Mbaye Niang for a possible transfer.

This Tuesday, Italian journalist Gianlunca Di Marzio announced Mbaye Niang and Sampdoria have reached an agreement for the transfer. The striker is expected tomorrow, Wednesday January 15, in Genoa, where he will sign a six-month contract with an option which will become an obligation in the event of promotion to Serie A.

If the transfer goes through, Mbaye Niang will therefore wear the tunics of Sampdoria, after playing for Genoa. The Senegalese also played for AC Milan, Torino and Empoli.
