The Krëfel brand will close four stores by the end of the year: here are the stores affected

By the end of December 2025, the Belgian chain Krëfel will close four stores in the country. These are the sites of Flémalle, Hornu and Andenne in Wallonia, and Vilvoorde in Flanders.

For the Belgian brand Krëfel, this is the end for four stores, namely those in Flémalle, Hornu, Andenne and Vilvoorde, reports Sudinfo. The news was announced to union representatives on Thursday during an extraordinary works council.

These closures will not result in job losses. “Management is committed to finding a solution for the staff, so that they can be relocated to other stores“, specifies Virginie Wégimont, permanent CNE Commerces.

Last October, Krëfel decided to withdraw from its “kitchens” activity, to concentrate on “its core business“, namely the sale of household appliances.

Founded in 1958, Krëfel has 73 points of sale in Belgium and employs more than 1,200 people. The chain is part of the United.b group (Boulanger, Electro Depot…).
