Airbus reaches 766 commercial aircraft deliveries in 2024: an impressive record

The aircraft manufacturer Airbus announced that it had delivered 766 commercial aircraft to 86 customers around the world in 2024. This figure, up compared to the previous year (735 deliveries), reflects sustained demand for its aircraft, particularly in the single-aisle and wide-body segments.

A net order of 826 aircraft in 2024

Airbus recorded 878 gross ordersincluding 826 net after adjusting for cancellations. Among these orders, we note a significant dynamic on wide-body aircraft, with 82 A330 et 142 A350 ordered. This performance strengthens its order book which now reaches 8,658 devices at the end of 2024.

Christian Scherer, CEO of Airbus Commercial Aviation, highlighted:
“2024 confirmed sustained demand for new devices. We won key decisions with major customers and saw remarkable momentum for our widebody aircraft, complementing our leading position in the single-aisle market. »

A stable but growing distribution of deliveries

The delivery table shows progress in several segments, particularly for the A220 and A320 family:

THE A220 and A320 families showed a notable increase, with 75 and 602 deliveries respectively, confirming the popularity of single-aisle aircraft on international markets. On the other hand, A350 deliveries decreased slightly, from 64 in 2023 to 57 in 2024.
