An American delegation visiting Laâyoune to strengthen cooperation

A high-level delegation composed of officials from the American embassy in Rabat, accompanied by experts from the Southbridge foundation, is expected this Monday evening in Laâyoune for a series of meetings in the regions of Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab, as part of strengthening international partnerships in the southern provinces of the Kingdom.

According to information obtained by Hespress, this visit, which will extend over two days, includes intensive meetings with local authorities, in particular the Wali of the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region, as well as several elected officials from the cities of Laâyoune and Dakhla. Discussions will focus on cooperation mechanisms between American institutions and local actors.

The same sources specify that these meetings will focus on supporting development projects aimed at achieving sustainable development, in harmony with the Moroccan vision of modernization of the southern provinces at the economic and social levels.

During this visit, the Southbridge delegation will present its main activities as a key player in international cooperation in Morocco. The foundation will thus highlight its commitment to projects focused on improving the quality of life, strengthening local capacities, and promoting public-private partnerships in the region.
