President Yoon authorized the army to open fire at Parliament, prosecutors reveal

In South Korea, the president authorized the army to open fire to enter Parliament, according to the South Korean prosecutor’s office. On December 3, the head of state, currently suspended, attempted to impose martial law on the territory. At the same time he sent the military to the National Assembly. These are blood-curdling words. They would have been pronounced on December 3 last year. In a telephone call to a military commander who was near the Assembly, the president Yoon Suk-yeol would have ordered: “ destroy doors with an ax if necessary » or even “ get people out, even if it means shooting ».

Almost a month ago, after the declaration of martial law in South Koreasoldiers stormed Parliament. They climbed fences, broke windows. Army helicopters even landed on the roof of the building. Parliamentarians succeeded in voting to withdraw martial law.
