A man broke into the Printemps store located in the 20th arrondissement of Paris on the night of Monday to Tuesday and stole jewelry, causing damage estimated at 300,000 euros, franceinfo learned on Thursday, December 26 from consistent sources, confirming information from Parisian.
Contacted by franceinfo Thursday morning, the Paris public prosecutor’s office confirmed that an investigation into burglary had been opened, after a man was able to enter the store located in Cours de Vincennes at night and stole “jewelry at the Mauboussin stand”. According to a source close to the case, the damage is estimated at 300,000 euros.
The individual had still not been arrested as of Thursday morning. The investigation was entrusted to the second district of the Paris judicial police.
