Anderlecht is getting closer to its first winter transfer. Negotiations are progressing regarding César “Chino” Huerta.
We told you about it yesterday: Anderlecht is on track to finalize the arrival of César Huerta. This is confirmed even more today: the Pumas UNAM winger should only cost Sporting a fraction of his market value due to his contract which expires in June.
According to Mexican media, Anderlecht would thus pay a transfer fee of 2 to 2.5 million euros. A remarkably low amount considering that Huerta's market value stands at €6 million. The Pumas UNAM want above all to prevent the 24-year-old international from leaving for free next summer.
Final details currently being negotiated
For this deal to be possible, Anderlecht must accept a resale percentage of 30 to 40%. This is too much for the Mauve et Blanc, negotiations are still underway on this subject.
Huerta, who has five goals and three assists in 15 league appearances this season, is believed to have chosen Anderlecht over Spanish club Osasuna. He considers the Belgian club to be an ideal springboard towards Europe. His contract in Brussels would last 3.5 to 4.5 years.
Olivier Renard is therefore already anticipating the departures of Samuel and Francis Amuzu. By bringing him to Brussels now, he also ensures his first Anderlecht transfer a six-month adaptation period.
