This Saturday, December 14, around 1 p.m., a wild boar sowed panic in the city center of Grasse.
The animal was first observed in rue Emile Zolabefore entering the courtyard of the Municipal Social Action Center (CCAS).
The large mammal would also have been seen in a private garden, before leaving to wander the streets, visibly furious.
“He charged my car, I have a big hole in the bumper,” testified a driver on Facebook, in the private group “You know you're from Grasse when…“
Two people injured, windows smashed
The wild boar would then smashed windows in the city centeraccording to information given to Nice-Matin by the police.
During his mad race through the streets of Grassethe wild boar has slightly injured two people at the level of the Honoré Cresp course. The latter were transported to hospital.
A louveterie lieutenant was alerted. Around 2:30 p.m. this Saturdayhe was still looking for the animal, which was not found.
