The Walloon shocks have always been hot matches, on the pitch and in the stands. That of this weekend sadly extended into the surrounding streets of Mambourg.
Faced with a traditionally explosive encounter, the police were mobilized en masse to control the Walloon clash. The violent excesses of certain Standard supporters required their intervention.
A resident of Avenue Général Michel, right next to Mambourg, had the misfortune of finding himself on the path of the Rouche supporters returning to their bus. He tells SudInfo that some attacked everything they could.
“These supporters got back on the bus, only to come off with lots of tubs of beer. They had taken the trouble to mask their faces with balaclavas: they then began to throw everything they had on hand” he remembers.

The damage was significant: “Cans ended up in my living room, upstairs! They continued with sparklers, firecrackers, which cracked very loudly! A neighbor also had one in her living room! My son two years old was traumatized… They also started banging on my garage door. They dismantled my mailbox, ripped out cables hanging from the wall.
The police were also attacked. The police finally sent the troublemakers back to their bus with the help of pumpers.
