Servette FC mourns one of its legends. Swiss champion twice in the garnet jersey (1961, 1962), former international Raymond Maffiolo has died at the age of 86, we learn on the club website.
Captain of Servette, the only club of his career, for a decade, Raymond Maffiolo was named in the “Servette of the century” during a survey carried out by the Tribune de Genève in 2000. This right-back had worn the Swiss team jersey seven times.
