Morgane Rivoal's parents took part in the hunt which brought together nearly 800 people in Pabu, in the Côtes d'Armor, this Friday, November 28 in the morning. They haven't slept for four nights, and haven't eaten for five days, since their daughter disappeared Monday, November 25 in the morning. Morgane had never run away until now.

This Friday afternoon, Morgane's parents, Aurore and Yoann Rivoal are in Saint-Brieuc. Their two other children are questioned by the gendarmerie. The investigation has therefore continued since the disappearance of the teenager last Monday. A second search also took place before nightfall this Friday, in the streets of Pabu and Guingamp. And investigators are searching empty buildings around the parents' house in Pabu.
Aurore Rivoal, Morgane's mother, recalls that her daughter left last Monday, as usual, “as if she was going to take the bus at 7:14 a.m., it leaves at 7:20 a.m.“. She adds that her daughter left the family home with her school bag and without money or her phone. Her parents got up a little later than their daughter on Monday.
The famous telephone was the subject of an argument the previous weekend between the parents and their daughter. “A discussion like teenagers and their parents can have, explains the mother, nothing more“. Morgane was connected to Snapchat and WhatsApp, like many teenagers her age. She also had a TikTok account, the existence of which her parents were unaware of. The phone was broken in this argument and the SM card confiscated. The cell phone is currently in the hands of investigators.

“Social networks were the subject of our argument. Today, on these networks, some tell us that we found our daughter, this is false. On these same networks, we also say that we have was violent with our daughter, it's wrong”. Aurore Rivoal wants to silence the rumors: “Her phone was taken away, it was broken, but we never used violence against our daughter. Let things be clearshe said. It was an argument like we've never had before. All these rumors hurt us.”
The parents don't understand what happened, why Morgane doesn't show any sign of life. Especially since she had in mind a trip to Saint-Malo this Saturday and Sunday to be selected as a ball girl at Roland-Garros. “Tennis is his passionhis mother confides to us, tennis and Breton dance. Morgane has been a ball girl at the Saint-Brieuc Open in the past, and next weekend she was planning to go with her parents, little brother and sister to St-Malo to be selected for Roland-Garros.

The more the days pass, the more the anxiety increases. The wait is painful: “We have our anxieties, we are at the end of our tether, we can no longer sleep. We don't eat anymore. It's a long time to wait without a response, without knowing what to say to our children“. Aurore Rivoal doesn't know if they understand, they are small: “They are exposed. They went back to school yesterday and today. Their friends ask them, and it's normal, what happened to their sister. We want to protect them“.
She would like to tell her eldest daughter that she is waiting for her: “We would really like her to come back, because we miss her… the whole family is there, all her friends are there to welcome her, we are just waiting for her.”
