Closed since 2008, the Aïn Sebaa Zoological Park is preparing to be reborn under new management. During an extraordinary session held on November 28, the Casablanca Municipal Council, chaired by Nabila Rmili, validated a delegated management contract, announcing an opening planned for June 2025.
Inspired by the model of Valencia in Spain, this 13-hectare park will be home to 45 animal species spread over three thematic areas representing Africa, Asia and America. In addition to animal facilities, it will include entertainment areas, an educational farm, a veterinary clinic, as well as dining and picnic areas.
With a total budget of 250 million dirhams, this project, financed by the Ministry of the Interior, the municipal council and the Casablanca-Settat region, reflects an ambition to reinvent the cultural and recreational offer of the city. However, entry will be charged, at 80 dirhams for adults and 50 dirhams for children, in order to guarantee the financial viability of the site.
