In the Assembly, LFI fails to obtain a vote on the repeal of the pension reform

Like a step back in time. This Thursday, the same actors replayed the same debates with the same arguments. All day long, they debated, in a real trench war, the repeal of the pension reform carried out a year and a half ago now by Élisabeth Borne. On the occasion of the parliamentary niche of La France insoumise, Macronists and Mélenchonists have, as in February 2023, fiercely fought around the contested postponement of the retirement age, without the law being able to be voted, at the end of a day which ended Thursday evening at midnight, marked by strong tensions in the hemicycle.
