The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will announce in the coming weeks the date of the draw for the next edition of the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2025) which will take place at Morocco from December 21 2025 and January 18, 2026.
The ranking of FIFA will be the parameter used by the governing body of African football to determine the hats of the draw.
According to the new classification of FIFA, the hats of the draw the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2025) will be as follows:
Pot 1: Morocco (14th), Senegal (17th), Egypt (33rd), Algeria (37th), Nigeria (44th) and Ivory Coast (46th).
Pot 2: Cameroon (49th), Mali (51st), Tunisia (52nd), South Africa (57th), DR Congo (61st) and Burkina Faso (66th).
Pot 3: Gabon (84th), Angola (85th), Zambia (87th), Uganda (88th), Equatorial Guinea (93rd) and Benin (94th).
Pot 4: Mozambique (96th), Comoros (103rd), Tanzania (106th), Sudan (113th), Zimbabwe (121st), Botswana (136th).
