With an almost doubled production area, these two new production infrastructures will make it possible, over the period 2024-2027, to create nearly 2,000 new positions. Through the inauguration of these two new infrastructures on its production sites in Dirty and to KenitraForvia is strengthening its industrial capacities in Morocco to serve its customers in the European and Moroccan markets, the group specifies in a press release.
Taking part in the inauguration of the Salé site, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Ryad Mezzourdeclared, “Today we are proudly celebrating the success in Morocco of the industrial projects of a automotive supplier internationally renowned, present in Morocco for more than 15 years. The establishment of the group’s new industrial infrastructures in the Kingdom demonstrates the confidence of industrial leaders in the Morocco destination and attests to the tremendous potential that theautomotive industry national and its great competitiveness”. And added that these two projects will contribute to improving the local integration of the sector and strengthening its positioning on global value chains.
For his part, the general director of the Forvia group, Patrick Kollerindicated that “Morocco, characterized by a continuously growing domestic market, is a country of particular importance for Forvia”.
Emphasizing the success of the group’s investments in Morocco, Mr. Koller noted that this project, alongside others factories already in place, has the objective not only of manufacturing but also of “contributing to the community and to the improvement of competitiveness and the development of the automobile sector”.
