A great reward for Arnaud Donckele. His restaurant La Vague d'or – Le Cheval Blanc in Saint-Tropez is the best restaurant in the world according to “La Liste”. The Tropezian table finishes first tied with 9 other restaurants in the prestigious ranking.
Arnaud Donckele also places his other restaurant – La Plénitude in Paris – on second place on the podium.
For this 2025 edition, “La Liste” selected 1,000 restaurants. In total we find 11 tables from the Alpes-Maritimes and Var.

Big growth in Asian tables

Created in 2015, La Liste aims to be the “ranking of rankings” and follows 35,000 restaurants in 200 countries, using an algorithm that compiles and weights more than 1,100 sources (guides, blogs and press articles) and assigns a score out of 100 points.
