According to the Mediaplusafrik information site, Djibril Dièye and his relatives “urge goodwill, the authorities and all generous souls to contribute to his medical evacuation”. “This gesture,” adds the same source, “could be the key to saving this man who, once, thrilled car enthusiasts through the small screen.” It is therefore a call for help launched to all those of good will.
According to his relatives, to increase his chances of survival and receive the necessary care, it is imperative that he be evacuated to France as soon as possible. However, the high costs associated with such care are beyond the financial capabilities of his family.
According to the M4tv website, Djibril Dièye’s state of health has been deteriorating for several months, causing concern among his relatives, friends and admirers. According to sources close to his family, “local treatments have not improved his condition. The disease, until now, is taking over more and more, endangering his once robust body.”
It should also be remembered that Djibril Dièye hosted the show Auto Mag on TFM, a show which had captivated many viewers who were automobile enthusiasts.
