The President of the Republic of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, praised Palestinian women for their courage and resistance in the face of the barbarity of the Israeli government.
The Turkish Head of State spoke on Monday in Ankara, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
He wanted, on this occasion, to recall the tragic fate of women in the Gaza Strip and in Palestine in general, the main victims of the massacres committed by the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu.
“Netanyahu’s government brutally massacres dozens of women, children, elderly people and infants every day, like serial killers who take pleasure in killing,” he compared.
The Turkish president also expressed admiration for the courage of Palestinian women, highlighting their strength in the face of violence.
“Amid the barbarities perpetrated by the network of killers, the honorable women of Palestine set an example to the whole world and to all women with their posture by not bowing to the oppressor,” added the Turkish leader.
Erdogan reaffirmed Türkiye’s commitment to supporting Palestinian women: “We will not hesitate to show our reaction and defend your most fundamental right, the right to life, despite pressure from the Zionist lobby.”
