In Draguignan, the Var criminal court handed down a 20-year prison sentence this Friday, with a two-thirds security period, against a 38-year-old man who was on trial for having raped his teenage daughter. , and for having delivered her to other men.
During this trial which lasted three days, the total control exercised by the father over his daughter, then aged 13, whose meetings, social networks and outings he controlled, was detailed. The man recognized the victim at birth, without being the biological father, and began to abuse her when she was 13, without the mother's knowledge. He also arranged meetings with strangers through ad sites, pretending they were a consenting couple.
A sixty-year-old also sentenced
Father of six children, a sixty-year-old was also sentenced to 16 years in prison for one of the rapes, identified thanks to videos seized by investigators. During the trial, he explained that he had believed the story of a fantasy of domination between adults, without ensuring the young girl's consent.
The victim, now aged 18, put an end to her ordeal by fleeing to Cavalaire-sur-mer, in August 2021. Supported by a passerby, she then recounted what she had suffered. During the hearing, she announced that she wanted
“close the book and move on”with a professional project in hairdressing.
The father said he did not want to appeal. He has already served three years behind bars.
