Wagner, the Kremlin’s disinformation machine in the Central African Republic

Because, for the powerful group founded by Yevgeny Prigozhin, it all began in Bangui, which became the first laboratory of the Wagner group on the African continent, with its strictly military activities, of course, but also propaganda operations, disinformation —for better discredit the Western powers, and establish the influence of Moscow. A well-orchestrated mechanism to manipulate public opinions and exploit the African media, making journalists the first victims. One of them, however, dared to speak, his name is Ephrem Yaliké, and for 8 months, 10 international media including RFI – coordinated by the Forbidden Stories association – investigated his story. The confessions of this repentant are edifying about Russia’s massive offensive against information in many African countries, particularly in the Sahel.
