This November 21, 2021, Sami G. and Armany M. showed up at the victim’s home disguised as a postman and armed with a crowbar for the first. The ex-companion, whom the suspects suspected of being a drug dealer, was not in the home unlike his partner, her baby and a friend of the latter. Her friend managed to disarm Sami G. while he threatened the mother and her child with the crowbar. Armany M. was able to take the gun out of his hands and the two men were able to rob Roosdal’s house.

During the search carried out at Armany M.’s home, investigators discovered part of the loot. Both perpetrators confessed to the facts. Armany M. explained in audience that he had received a call from Sami G. to propose this home invasion which was to bring in between 100,000 and 150,000 euros according to their estimates. Sami G. initially assured that there was a third suspect present on the evening of the incident and that he had only dropped them off in front of the alleged dealer’s home. The son of the former Minister of Justice, however, retracted his statements and confessed, accusing Maïra C. in the process: he carried out the attack at her request because the alleged dealer owed her a debt of approximately 1,300 euros.
