Investors interested in the takeover of the Belgian airline Air Belgium had until November 15 to submit an offer. According to our information, only one investor actually did so on time. This is the last communication made by CEO Niky Terzakis to staff that we are aware of. One thing seems certain: this potential shareholder, which will be revealed during the hearing on December 5, would only take over freight or passengers. In the meantime, the legal representative, Me Bernard Vanham, must analyze the offer and report it to the Court which will approve or not the only offer submitted, that of the last chance for the Belgian airline. As for the two leased Airbus A330neos withdrawn and initially intended for the Brazilian airline Azul, the latter, for reasons of operability of its fleet, decided to ignore these two used aircraft. But a new investor positions himself and wants to contact the court directly, without going through the practitioner. This is Fernand Danan (Airline Revival). He named his project Air Belgium Neo. In particular, he wants to bring staff into the capital and offers a solution for injured customers.
