Organized in space Anfa Park in Casablanca, the 2nd edition of International Children’s and Youth Book Fair aims to perpetuate the positive impact achieved by the 1st edition, thus contributing to expanding the city’s cultural offering as a economic capital et cultural destination international, indicates the ministry in a press release.
This Salon aspires, moreover, to the consecration of an annual tradition, making economic capital one of the rare cities in the world to host an internationally renowned fair, dedicated to books for children and young people.
More than 255 exhibitors including 75 direct and 180 indirect, from 33 countries, participated in the first edition of this Salonunderlines the same source, recalling that they presented to the public an offer of more than 35,000 titles, totaling more than 100,000 copies
This Fair aims to bring the book closer to younger generations and to encourage them to read, to support the book industry, to promote the image of the economic capital as a cultural destination, to offer young readers a cultural capital Moroccan and international, and to offer a rich and diverse cultural program, including workshops, conferences and shows.
